LILLIAN LEWIS
Lillian Lewis is a sophomore at John Handley High School in Winchester, VA where she is involved with the Handley Swim Team, Key Club, Women With A Purpose, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the National Society of High School Scholars. While navigating her way through high school, she’s dancing to her heart’s content at Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet and has had the privilege of dancing with other nationally-known dance companies’ summer programs.
Her upbringing in a military family inspired her service initiative, Carrina’s Operation Hug-Your-Hero, which brings comfort and love to the children who may be longing for their military parent, by recycling old uniforms to create a stuffed bear to remind them that love is never separated by miles. Locally, she has spoken with youth organizations about veterans and their families experiences.
Lillian aspires to graduate high school with an advanced degree and head to college as an ROTC cadet, double majoring in dance and biology. From there, she plans to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and serve in the U.S. Air Force.
Behind the scenes, Lillian loves to bake, draw, write poetry, and cheer her two brothers on in their sports.
