KIRA SLEDGE

A native of Houston, Texas, Kira is a first-year Musical Theater Major at Shenandoah University. A singer and a dancer, she hopes to graduate from Shenandoah University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Musical Theater and begin working in New York City as a performer.

Kira is a graduate of Stratford High School, Magna Cum Laude with a perfect GPA. Among her many awards are Outstanding Lead Finalist Nominee - Tommy Tunes Regional Theater Awards; UIL All-Star Cast Award - Amadeus (Constanze); Principal’s Honor Roll Award; and the North Star Leadership Award - Tommy Tunes Regional Theater Awards.

Kira’s Community Service Initiative, Bites of Hope: Feed the Future, helps feed students of all ages in Frederick County and Winchester City Public Schools through the Bright Futures Organization.

Kira is of Italian heritage and a dual citizen of both the United States and Canada. She has a fantastic trumpet impression, has had vocal surgery, can recite the Greek alphabet, and has crooked elbows.
